In this unique workshop, participants will work with mycelium (the root structure of fungi) to create sustainable bud vases. The session begins with an introduction to fungi-based materials and their environmental benefits. Teams will learn to select appropriate fungal species, prevent contamination, and use mold forms to shape their creations. Each participant will design and assemble their own customized vase mold, then pack it with mycelium material that will continue growing after the workshop.


Participants will gain practical knowledge about biofabrication and sustainable material alternatives to plastics.
